GOAThire.ai is a trading name of RecAlliance Pty Ltd (ABN 88 660 656 422) ("GOAThire", "we", "us"). We're bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains how we handle personal information.
1. What we collect
- Candidates: your name, contact details, suburb, resume, professional profile information, your application consent and whether you want to hear about future roles.
- Employers: contact names and details, business details, role information and billing details.
- Website visitors: usage information collected through cookies and analytics tools (Google Analytics and HubSpot).
2. How we collect it
- From you, when you apply for a role, start a role, email us or fill in a form.
- From publicly available professional profiles and candidate databases we're licensed to use, when our AI agent identifies people who may suit a specific role.
- Through cookies when you use our website.
3. Why we use it
- To contact potential candidates about a specific role.
- To send an application to the employer named on the role page, with the candidate's consent.
- To tell candidates about future roles, only if they've asked us to.
- To run engagements with employers, including invoicing.
- To improve our website and service, and to meet our legal obligations.
4. How we use AI
We use AI tools to identify people who may suit a role and to draft messages. A person reviews every outreach message before it's sent. AI doesn't interview candidates or make hiring decisions. Employers make their own hiring decisions.
5. Who we share it with
- Employers: a candidate's application goes only to the employer named on the role page, and only with the candidate's consent.
- Service providers: businesses that help us run GOAThire, such as our CRM and website host (HubSpot), email (Microsoft 365), accounting (Xero), analytics and AI providers.
- Others where required by law.
We don't sell personal information. We don't pass candidates' details to recruitment agencies.
6. Overseas storage
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
7. Messages and opting out
Every message we send names GOAThire.ai as the sender and includes a way to opt out, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). Reply "unsubscribe" or email recruitment@goathire.ai and we'll stop contacting you.
8. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, then delete or de-identify it.
9. Access and correction
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing recruitment@goathire.ai.
10. Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, email us and we'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page.
